Longarm Quilting
Love piecing quilts but not the quilting part? Let me help! With my longarm quilting service, your quilt tops are transformed into heirloom-quality treasures—quickly and beautifully. Just send me your quilt top and backing, and within two weeks (or sooner!), you’ll have your finished masterpiece ready to enjoy.
Let's Get Started
1. Choose Your Quilting Design
Start with the most important part—picking your quilting design! Browse my design catalog for inspiration, or feel free to reach out if you’d like a suggestion or want something custom.
2. Submit Your Quilting Request
Fill out and submit the quilting request form. Once I review it, I’ll send you a pricing estimate along with instructions for preparing and mailing (or dropping off) your quilt.
Pricing
Quilting is priced by the size of your quilt. Most designs are $0.025 per square inch. Dense or custom patterns may be priced slightly higher.
Minimum Charge per order $50 per quilt. Price does include thread, needle and shipping back to you.
Batting Options
You’re welcome to provide your own batting, or I can supply it:
- Quilter's Dream 80/20--$12/yard
- Bamboo 96"--$16.00/yard
Binding Services
- Full Machine Binding $0.25 per linear inch
- Machine Binding on Front $0.15 per linear inch
Backing Requirements
Your quilt backing must be at least 3 inches larger than the quilt top on all sides (that’s 6 inches total in both length and width). This extra fabric is necessary to load your quilt onto the longarm frame. Need help assembling backing? I offer backing assembly at $15 per seam.
